Florida League of Cities
October 9, 2018

First Vice President of the Florida League of Cities, Isaac Salver, will serve as chair of the 2018 Legislative Committee of the Florida League of Cities. The purpose of the committee is to review the recommended legislative priorities of the League’s five legislative policy committees. Based on this review, the Legislative Committee votes on a proposed Legislative Action Agenda, which is then submitted to the full League membership for its consideration and adoption.

Council Member Salver

The Legislative Committee consists of the chair of each League policy committee, chairs of the League's other standing committees, presidents of the local and/or regional leagues, members from other municipal associations and the League municipal trusts, and several at-large members who are appointed by the President. The composition of the Legislative Committee ensures a broad representation of the League’s membership on this significant committee, enhancing their ability to present a unified front to the Florida Legislature.

Congratulations Councilmember Salver and thank you for your long-time commitment to our community and to protecting Home Rule.
