At the Town of Bay Harbor Islands Community Services Department, we focus every day on enriching the lives of our residents by creating an exceptional environment and providing exemplary services that enable our community to thrive and prosper.
Located within the major metropolitan area of Miami-Dade County, residents of Bay Harbor Islands can avail themselves of almost unlimited choices of recreation and entertainment. Within the Town itself, residents can take part in any of the many programs offered at the Morris N. Broad Community Center and the Bay Harbor Islands Library, enjoy relaxing green space in the Town’s two passive parks, a well-equipped Tot Lot playground for small children, an outdoor event space adjacent to the Community Center, two dog parks, and a park with a water feature. Tennis courts are available for leisure play, private lessons and summer tennis camps for children.
Activities
Headquartered in the Morris N. Broad Community Center, the Community Services Department provides Bay Harbor Islands residents a robust program of activities throughout the year. From Yoga, Computer Classes and Tai-Chi for seniors to Cheerleading, Soccer, and Zumba for the kids, to our Outdoor Movie Nights and seasonal events, the Department’s goal is to enrich the lives of Bay Harbor Islands residents through engaging and healthy programming.
