Fun Day Off Camp

Fun Day Off Camp is held every Miami-Dade County Public School’s Teacher Planning Day from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for children K-8th grade. Children will enjoy a fun day at the Community Center filled games, field trips and sports. Breakfast and lunch are not included and must be provided daily by the child’s parent/guardian.

  • Fun Days Off Camp is offered on the following remaining Teacher Planning Days for Miami-Dade County Public Schools 2019-2020 school year:
    • Friday, April 10th, 2020
    • Thursday, June 4th, 2020.
  • Cost: $40.00 for Residents and $60 for Non-Residents for each Fun Day Off Camp.

Spring Camp

The Bay Harbor Islands Camps are for children K-8th grades. Our campers will enjoy sports, field trips, games, art & crafts, fun and educational activities and so such more. Our Winter/Spring Camp are held at the Morris N. Broad Community Center. Breakfast and lunch are not included and must be provided daily by the child’s parent/guardian.

Spring Break 2020 Camp

  • Camp Dates: Monday, March 23rd, 2020 to Friday, March 27th, 2020 
  • Time: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. 
  • Cost:
    • Resident Rate: $140.00 for Residents, plus a $20.00 registration fee.
    • Non-Resident Rate: $180.00 for Non-residents, plus a $40.00 registration fee.


Summer Camp

The Bay Harbor Islands Camps are for children K-8th grades. Our campers will enjoy a variety of sports (basketball, flag football and soccer), art & crafts, games, field trips, educational and other fun activities. Summer camp is held at Ruth K. Broad K-8th School and is offered in two sessions which includes breakfast, lunch and a camp shirt for field trips only. Participants are responsible for bringing their own water bottle that can easily be refilled by the child.

Summer Camp 2020 Session 1:

  • Dates: TBA, waiting for Miami-Dade County Public School 2020-2021 Academic Calendar to be public to determine the camp start and end dates
  • Length: 8-weeks (all summer)
  • Time: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. 
  • Cost:
    • Resident Rate: $800.00 for Residents, plus a $20.00 registration fee.
    • Non-Resident Rate: $1,100.00 for Non-residents, plus a $40.00 registration fee.

Summer Camp 2020 Session 2:

  • Dates: TBA, waiting for Miami-Dade County Public School 2020-2021 Academic Calendar to be public to determine the camp start and end dates
  • Length: 4-weeks (continuously)
  • Time: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. 
  • Cost:
    • Resident Rate: $450.00 for Residents, plus a $20.00 registration fee.
    • Non-Resident Rate: $600.00 for Non-residents, plus a $40.00 registration fee.


Specialized Sports Summer Camp

The Bay Harbor Islands Specialized Sports Summer Camps are for children K-8th grades and will focus on all the fundamentals of the sport selected either flag football, soccer, volleyball or basketball. Children will be separated by sport and age. Our Specialized Sports Camp is held at Ruth K. Broad K-8th School and includes breakfast, lunch and 2 practice shirts. Participants are responsible for bringing their own sport-specific shoes (ex. cleats), guards or other protective wear (ex. shin guards) and a water bottle that can easily be refilled by the child.

  • Length: 2-weeks (continuously)
  • Time: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. 
  • Cost: 
    • Resident Rate: $140.00 for Residents, plus a $20.00 registration fee.
    • Non-Resident Rate: $180.00 for Non-residents, plus a $40.00 registration fee.

Flag Football:

Participants will learn the basics of catching, passing, running with the ball and basic defensive skills.

Soccer:

Participants will learn skills of soccer, including dribbling, passing, kicking, ball control and more.

Volleyball:

Participants will learn skills of volleyball, including serving, passing, hitting and setting.

Basketball:

Participants will learn the basics skills of Basketball, including dribbling, passing, shooting and more.
