Applicants must be a Town employee and must have served under a current permanent appointment in the class of Police Officer with at least three (3) continuous years of service as a sworn law enforcement officer, two (2) of which were served within this department from the closing date of this announcement.
The examination will consist of two parts, weighted as follows: 1. Written Test (Reference List attached) - 40% 2. Assessment Exercise - 60%
The written examination will be administered by Susan Thornton from Promotional Consulting in a class room setting. To be eligible for the assessment exercise, candidates must achieve a minimum passing score of 70% on the written examination.
