The Town of Bay Harbor Islands will hold its annual municipal election will Tuesday, April 2, 2024. Two seats on the Town Council (currently held by Mayor Elizabeth Tricoche and Vice Mayor Joshua Fuller) will come up for vote in this election.
Voting on Election Day
Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Election Day. Both Bay Harbor Islands precincts will vote at the Morris N. Broad Community Center, 1075 95th Street, Bay Harbor Islands, FL 33154
Early voting for the Town's April 2, 2024 municipal election will take place Thursday, March 28, 2024 and Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the Morris N. Broad Community Center. Polls will be open both days from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Due to changes in Florida law, requests for vote-by-mail ballots expire at the end of each calendar year. If you wish to vote-by-mail in the Town’s April 2nd election, you must submit your request to the Miami-Dade Elections Department no less than 12-days prior to the election (March 21, 2024). Voter Registration Requirements
If you are already registered at your current Bay Harbor Islands residential address, you need not re-register.
If you are not already registered to vote at your current Bay Harbor Islands’ residential address, are a new voter or have moved, you will need to register at your residential address by March 4, 2024 in order to be eligible to cast your vote in the April 2nd election. (Under state law, new registrations must be received by the county’s Elections Department 29 days prior to the election.) To register you must be at least 18 years of age and be a citizen of the United States. There is no minimum residency requirement for registration.
