TRAFFIC ALERT UPDATE, 06/26/2021 at 10:00 AM

Due to check points set-up at Abbot and Harding Avenues, traffic is backing up eastbound on 96th St. from Surfside into Bay Harbor Islands. Back-ups, at this time, go back as far as East Broadview Drive. Bay Harbor Islands Police Officers are at the intersections to keep them clear. Still, we may experience these kinds of traffic delays all day, due to the traffic pattern around the site of the building collapse site, heavy equipment being moved into the area and these new checkpoints having been established at Harding and Abbot.

IMPORTANT - This is a fluid situation so things may change. We will do our best to keep you updated. Please exercise patience and avoid the collapse site. Persons wishing to travel southbound from our Town should head west to Biscayne or I-95 and go eastbound further south.
