UPDATED TRAFFIC ALERT! 

The 79th Street Causeway has reopened. Traffic is flowing smoothly again there and in Bay Harbor Islands. 

The 79th St Causeway bridge was shut down earlier due to a malfunction. Traffic was being rerouted our way, causing backups and slowdowns on the Broad Causeway Bridge and 96th Street/Kane Concourse, in both East and Westbound directions.
