The Finance Department also performs a variety of services including budget preparation, utility billing, accounts payable processing, payroll processing, risk management and preparation of the award winning Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.
Financial Transparency Portal
The Town of Bay Harbor Islands' Finance Department has created an interactive online tool, the Financial Transparency Portal, to make financial information easier for the public to access. This tool, powered by OpenGov, improves the overall financial transparency of the Town by providing financial data that can be sorted based on the user's interests. When accessing the portal, one will find graphs and charts that are easy to understand. Users can view historical, actual and budget data, from fiscal year 2014 through today.
